Biography

Jasmine is responsible for connecting with organizations – companies, research organizations, and government agencies – to create value from their IP. With her vast and diverse IP and technology management background in both the private and public sectors, she has the experience and expertise to assist clients with managing their IP needs effectively. Jasmine and her team work with IP stakeholders and organizations across all sectors to implement efficient internal processes, and develop best practices for portfolio building, strategic management, and commercialization. Jasmine is a member of the company’s executive team and one of the “World’s Leading Strategist” as named by IAM Magazine in 2013 and 2014. Prior to joining Transpacific IP, Jasmine was Director of the National University of Singapore Industry Liaison Office, where she was responsible for University-Industry alliances and partnerships, and negotiating licenses and corporate-sponsored research agreements. Under her leadership, NUS ILO shifted its focus to creating value from internally-developed technologies, becoming the leading technology management and industry liaison office in Singapore and around the region. As a published author, frequent speaker, and member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), Jasmine is an active thought leader in the industry. She has worked with the Singaporean government on policies promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and has been engaged with World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) giving training in ASEAN and African countries. Jasmine is also a registered SCOPE IP Consultant under IPOS. Jasmine earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physical Oceanography from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Civil Engineering.
